PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial feed type plasma spray apparatus capable of preventing a molten thermal spray material from sticking inside a plasma generation chamber and into a plasma jet ejection hole, melting a thermal spray material ejected from a thermal spray material ejection hole with high thermal efficiency, and improving a yield, as well as capable of preventing the thermal spray material from getting reflected and scattered on the periphery of a plasma flame or breaking through it to become scattered due to a difference in the grain diameter, weight, etc. of the thermal spray material.SOLUTION: A central section which is the tip surface of an anode nozzle 2a and is enclosed with three or more plasma jet ejection holes 4A is provided with a thermal spray material ejection hole, while the plasma jet ejection holes are each formed in parallel or almost in parallel with an axial center 2C so that plasma jets ejected from the plasma jet ejection holes do not intersect at one point on the axial center of the anode nozzle before they reach a base material. |
