Autologous surgical bone collection and filtration

Apparatus and methods are disclosed for use during surgical procedures for collecting autologous bone from blood. A preferred apparatus for collecting and filtering bone from blood includes a collection trap; a first cover; and a second cover. The first cover and second cover are interchangeably attachable to the collection trap. The first cover comprises a suction port and an intake port. The second cover comprises a suction port and a plunger.
