PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strap which is provided with: a locking mechanism capable of easy and reliable attachment and detachment with the hands while the strap is normally worn; and engaging means which, when an excessive load is applied to the neck, is capable of safely releasing the loop of a strap body.SOLUTION: A strap 11 comprises a strap body 12, and a clasp 14 which is provided at both ends of the strap body 12 and is attachable and detachable. The clasp 14 comprises a first clasp 15 and a second clasp 16 having a locking mechanism, and the second clasp 16 comprises a first engaging member 17 and a second engaging member 18 having an engaging mechanism. When a predetermined load or tension is applied to the strap body 12 while the clasp 14 is locked, the engaging mechanism of the first engaging member 17 and the second engaging member 18 is disengaged. |
