The invention is a method for managing gaming assets. A playing device comprisesanauthentication data which is unique to said playing device. Aplayer device is allocated to a player.Themethod comprises the step of:authenticating said authentication data and in case of success, generating a physical asset signature reflecting the allocation of said playing device to said player device and storing said physical asset signaturein said player device.
