PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which generation of a magnetic field due to a current flow is decreased during use, and the impact of noise due to the magnetic field on a hearing aid and the like is reduced.SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery of the present invention, a positive electrode core exposed part 21a, narrower than 1/2 of the width of a positive electrode plate 20, is formed in a positive electrode plate 20 on the start-of-winding side or the end-of-winding side thereof. A positive electrode tab 12a is welded to the positive electrode core exposed part 21a. A negative electrode core exposed part 25a, narrower than 1/2 of the width of a negative electrode plate 24, is formed in the negative electrode plate 24 on the same side as the positive electrode core exposed part 21a. A negative electrode tab 13a is welded to the negative electrode core exposed part 25a. |
