PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjustment device for a steering wheel for preventing an adjustment lever from rotating rapidly so as to prevent a driver operating the adjustment lever from feeling uncomfortable when the adjustment lever is rotated to adjust a position of the steering wheel.SOLUTION: In a position adjustment device, a telescopic damper 35 that serves to resist rotating the adjustment lever 32 is provided between a projection piece 34 rotating around an adjustment rod 24 with the adjustment lever 32 and an extension portion 37 provided to a support plate portion 15c. The telescopic damper 35 is formed by combining a cylinder portion 38 and a damper rod 39 via a grease 40 in such a way that they are relatively displaceable in the axis direction. Further, the telescopic damper 35 is formed in a multiple structure to enhance damper effect. |
