摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve production yield by reducing bright spot pixels caused by a short circuit in a gate line and pixel electrode, resulting from a defect in a pixel transistor in a liquid crystal display device.SOLUTION: A display device has a pixel cell at each of the intersections of gate lines and signal lines, each pixel cell comprising: a pixel transistor that conducts by drive of the corresponding gate line; a pixel in which a liquid crystal layer is formed between a pixel electrode and a counter electrode; an auxiliary capacitance; and an anti-fuse element. In each pixel cell, the pixel electrode, one end of the auxiliary capacitance, and one end of anti-fuse element are connected. Since the anti-fuse elements are provided parallel in the pixels, each pixel electrode can be subjected to a short circuit at the same potential as the corresponding counter electrode potential by conducting the anti-fuse element. Accordingly, pixels that are bright spots can be reduced.
