摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFT array substrate and a liquid crystal display device, which are capable of suppressing leak current of a TFT of each pixel even under the condition where a gate voltage has deep bias.SOLUTION: The TFT array substrate comprises: gate wiring 4 for driving pixel electrodes configuring pixels on an insulating substrate 6; source wiring 5 crossing the gate wiring 4 via an insulator film; a source electrode 3 connected to the source wiring 5; and a drain electrode 2 provided facing the source electrode 3, and connected to the pixel electrode. A semiconductor layer 1 to be connected to the source electrode 3 and the drain electrode 2 is provided on a layer below the source electrode 3 and the drain electrode 2. An end face of the semiconductor layer 1 does not overlap with end faces of the source wiring 5, of the source electrode 3 and of the drain electrode 2, on the gate wiring 4. A portion of the semiconductor layer 1, located below the drain electrode 2, has an end face that is included in the gate wiring 4 in plan view.
