PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability of a kneading paddle without reducing strength thereof, while suppressing manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: In two rotating shafts 4 disposed in parallel to each other in a kneading chamber 2a of a shearing kneading device, kneading paddles 5 each having a shape obtained by superposing a plurality of circular arcs when viewed from an axial direction of the rotating shafts 4 are disposed at a predetermined phase difference, respectively. A plurality of tops 13 are moved closely with an inner surface of the kneading chamber 2a and an outer surface of another kneading paddle 5, and thereby a kneading material is kneaded while being sheared. A weld hardening build-up layer 16 is formed on the tops 13 of a paddle body 6 and in a predetermined range extending from the tops 13 to a side surface 15 in a rotating direction. |
