PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear unit which reduces a thrust force applied to a gear and reduces a loss of the gear unit.SOLUTION: A gear unit includes first, second and third gears 26, 34, 30 which are meshed with each other. The second gear 34 is meshed with the first gear 26 and the third gear 30. In the second gear 34, a torsion angle &thetas;of a coast side tooth surface is differentiated from a torsion angle &thetas;of a drive side tooth surface of the side opposite to the coast side tooth surface. Thereby, a first thrust force Fb which operates on the second gear 34 due to bearing behavior and the like is cancelled or reduced by a thrust force in the inverse direction due to a difference of torsion angles &thetas;, &thetas;. |
