PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for fixing inner bone using a device for repairing weaken or broken bone.SOLUTION: A device 100 used for repairing broken bone has a base end 102, a terminal 104, and a long and narrow shaft 101 having a longitudinal shaft between the base end and the terminal. The device includes: a delivery catheter 110 having an internal cavity being a passage of at least one reinforcement material and an internal lumen being a passage of a light source; a compliant member releasably engaged with the terminal 104 of the delivery catheter 110 and shifting from a contracted state into an expanded state when the at least one reinforcement material is fed; and an adaptor releasably engaged with a base end 123 of the delivery catheter 110 so as to accept the light source and the at least one reinforcement material.
