A bed frame has longitudinal supports and transverse slats which are mounted resiliently at both ends in each case by means of an attachment device. Each of these devices has an integral support which has at the bottom an attachment part (7a) which can be attached to the longitudinal support, at the top a holding part (7g) which holds the transverse slat, and between them a resilient intermediate part (7k). The support consists of a plastic, for example polypropylene, which has a sheer modulus of at least 500 kp/cm<2>, and its intermediate part has at least one elastically deformable web (7n) which is designed in such a way that the holding part located at the top in the assembled state can be displaced resiliently downwards and can be tilted about an axis at least approximately parallel to the longitudinal direction of the transverse slat. However, the support preferably has two resilient webs, between which there is a gap. Projecting into this gap from above is a nose-type projection (7i). When the holding part is displaced far enough against the attachment part, the nose strikes against said part. As a result, further displacement is prevented or at least the spring constant of the support suddenly becomes greater. In each case, however, tilting of the holding part is still possible. <IMAGE>
