<p>Items of clothing benefit from being hung when not worn so as to maintain shape and reduce creasing. Therefore clothing often has hanging loops (6) that may be used to hang the item (4) on hangers for retail purposes or for home use. However, when not being used to hang the item (4), the loops (6) are problematic, often accidentally being displayed and can present a snagging hazard. To avoid this users often cut off the hanging loops (6). The present invention provides a clothing item part catch (10) that is adapted to be connected to an inner part of an item of clothing (4) and is suitable for engaging a hanging loop (6) of the item of clothing (4) when not required for hanging the item of clothing (4). The part catch (10) has a body that defines a closed loop portion (2) and an attachment means (1) for engaging the hanging loop (6).</p> |
