PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reduction in printing quality due to a mixture of colors of ink in a printer provided with a print head for discharging the ink of a plurality of colors including at least yellow, cyan, magenta and black.SOLUTION: A printer is provided with a print head. The print head has a first nozzle array for discharging yellow color ink, a second nozzle array for discharging cyan color ink, a third nozzle array for discharging magenta color ink, a fourth nozzle array that is arranged between the first nozzle array and the second nozzle array and discharges black color ink and a fifth nozzle array that is arranged between the second nozzle array and the third nozzle array and discharges the black color ink. The first to fifth nozzle arrays are arranged in order of the first, fourth, second, fifth and third nozzle arrays from an upstream side to a downstream side in a transportation direction of a printing medium, and the respective first to fifth nozzle arrays are constituted of a plurality of nozzles arranged in a width direction orthogonal to the transportation direction and discharge the ink onto the printing medium transported without scanning of the print head. |
