PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system of controlling a brushless motor.SOLUTION: A method of controlling a brushless motor comprises sensing a temperature, using the sensed temperature to define a current limit, and sequentially energizing and de-energizing a winding of the motor. The winding is de-energized in response to current in the winding exceeding the current limit. A lower current limit is defined for a lower sensed temperature. |
