PURPOSE: A push message providing method and a system thereof are provided to transmit an active push message to various types of client terminals by transmitting a push message to a client terminal through a socket of a transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) or user datagram protocol/internet protocol (UDP/IP) base. CONSTITUTION: A service module (150) generates a push message. A distribution module (130) identifies a service field by analyzing the push message which is generated in the service module. The distribution module delivers the push message to a push server which is in charge of the identified service field. Each of one or more push servers (120-1 to 120-N) forms a socket for transmitting a push message with a client terminal. One of the one or more push servers transmits a push message which is delivered from the distribution module to the client terminal which forms the socket.
