The present invention relates to a combustion apparatus using both solid fuels (firewood, pellet, coal, lignite) and briquet. The apparatus of the present invention is configured by mutually connecting a solid fuel combustion unit and a briquet combustion unit, and can make combustion occur by placing solid fuels, i.e., firewood, pellet, coal or lignite in a solid fuel brazier when combustion with only solid fuels is desired, or by supplying briquet in the briquet combustion unit when solid fuels are not available or feeding solid fuels is cumbersome. In addition, more powerful fire power can be generated by simultaneous combustion of the solid fuel combustion unit and the briquet combustion unit. As a feature of the apparatus of the present invention, heat efficiencies can be maximized by making the apparatus more compact with allowing combustion gas to be discharged through an exhaust hole after passing through the solid fuel combustion unit upon briquet combustion in the briquet combustion unit, and also by making complete combustion occur further. |
