PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool which inhibits heat generation of a pump, enables easy control, and reduces a storage amount of a coolant tank and energy for driving the machine tool.SOLUTION: A machine tool 1 includes: a workpiece support device 20 including a workpiece support surface 21a; a tool spindle 30 to which a grind stone 2 (a tool) is detachably attached; a spindle head 40 rotatably supporting the tool spindle 30; a driving device 50 which rotates the tool spindle 30; a pump 60 connected with the tool spindle 30; a coolant tank 70; an inlet pipe 81 where one end is connected with an inlet port 63 of the pump 60 and the other end is connected with the coolant tank 70; and a discharge pipe 82 where one end is connected with a discharge port 64 of the pump 60 and the other end is disposed in a processing region 3 of a workpiece W. A rotational force of the tool spindle 30 is transmitted to the pump 60 thereby driving the pump 60. |
