PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a timing in which the communication data amounts of an information terminal are concentrated for distributing the communication data amounts in the case of downloading update software.SOLUTION: An application update device 1 includes: a use history storage section 13 for storing information on the communication data amounts of an information terminal 31 which change in accordance with the lapse of time during the start of each application software; a communication data amount determination section 20 for determining a time zone in which the communication data amounts of the information terminal 31 becomes less than a predetermined value during the start of the application software on the basis of information on the communication data amounts; a download execution section 15 for downloading update software in the time zone in which the communication data amounts of the information terminal 31 become less than the predetermined value during the start of any application software; and an update execution section 16 for updating application software to be updated by using the update software. |
