The method involves applying a layer of mineral material plates (7) on an outer wall (6) of a building, where the material plates are designed with thickness of smaller than 20 mm. A translucent, water-repelling, adjustable non-woven layer having thickness of smaller than 10 mm is applied on the material plates as an outer cover layer (11). A coating is applied to the non-woven layer, and the material plates comprise a portion of glass. The material plates are applied to the wall under leaving of flow paths between an outer side (10) of the wall and an inner surface of the material plates. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for energetically favorable formation of a building (2) an energetically favorable formed outer wall of a building.
