Described is a cervical cage useful in the replacement of cervical discs injured by a trauma, degenerative disease or infection. The device has a rhomboid shape, suitable for replacing a lumbar disc. The surfaces bought into contact with the bone tissue present sharpened shapes that avoid the displacement of the prosthesis. Likewise, the rear surface has a concave shape for preventing the device from being brought into contact with the nerves damaged when the original vertebral disc was in its place. The invention is made of radiopaque polymeric material. |
