PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel cyanine dye derivative including a pyrazole skeleton and an indole skeleton, having high sensitivity and exhibiting high water solubility in a shorter wavelength region than the conventional optical system.SOLUTION: There is provided (1) a compound or a salt thereof represented by general formula [1]. In the general formula [1], Rto Rare alkyl groups, Rto Rare alkyl groups. In general formula [2], Ris a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or the like. In general formula [3], Ris a hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom or the like, Ris a hydrogen atom, alkyl group or the like, n is an integer of 0 to 3. There is provided (2) a labeling compound obtained by directly or indirectly binding the above-described compound with a substance to be labeled. There is provided (3) a labeling method of a substance to be labeled in which the above-described compound is bound with the substance to be labeled. |
