PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately predict results under required conditions while reducing a time required for prediction.SOLUTION: A result prediction device 1 includes a result DB6 for storing past results about the combination of conditions and results. Then, in an arithmetic processing section 20 of a device main body 2, a result prediction section 23 extracts object result data by using the same divisions as the divisions of required conditions for performing result prediction as object divisions, and predicts results under the required conditions by performing regression calculation by using the extracted object result data, and the result prediction section 23 determines the reliability of the regression calculation, and when determining that the reliability is low, adds the object result data by changing the object divisions to similar divisions, and predicts results under the required conditions by performing the regression calculation again. |
