PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuously variable transmission that can efficiently perform cooling and lubrication when a winding transmission member is a chain.SOLUTION: A continuously variable transmission includes: a pair of rotating shafts 13 and 14 arranged parallel to each other; a pair of pulleys 16 and 17 provided for the rotating shafts 13 and 14, respectively and capable of changing a groove width; a winding transmission member 18 made of a chain wound around the pair of pulleys 16 and 17; and lubricating means for lubricating the pulleys 16 and 17 and the winding transmission member 18. The lubricating means includes: jetting parts 41 and 42 for jetting a lubricating oil into grooves of each of the pulleys 16 and 17; and guide members 51 and 52 having guide surfaces that guide the lubricating oil jet into the grooves of each of the pulleys 16 and 17 to the axial outside toward inside surfaces of each of the pulleys 16 and 17.
