The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a solar cell having a uniform buffer layer and to a solar cell produced by the same. The method for manufacturing a solar cell having a uniform buffer layer comprises: a step of preparing a substrate for a solar cell; a step of forming a light absorbing layer on the substrate for the solar cell; a step of heating the light absorbing layer formed on the substrate for a solar cell; a step of depositing cadmium ions on the light absorbing layer after the first heating; a step of depositing sulfur ions on the cadmium ion deposited light absorbing layer; a step of forming a CdS layer by heating the cadmium ion and sulfur ion deposited substrate for the solar cell; and a step of forming a transparent electrode layer on the CdS layer. According to the present invention, a solar cell having a uniform buffer layer can be provided and excellent productivity is possible due to the continuous process by roll-to-roll.
