Method for producing thermoplastic foam plates using thermal welding of plates with structured cavities

The method involves providing a surface of a thinner thermoplastic foam sheet with structured recesses at positions by thermal welding without forming a weld seam. The structured recesses are formed in the shape of point-shaped, linear or grid-shaped, and distance between individual structural units of the structured recesses is ranged maximum to 20 mm. The structured recesses are provided with average depth of smaller than 10 mm and larger than 0.5 mm and produced by planning or milling the surface of the thinner thermoplastic foam sheet. An independent claim is also included for a thermoplastic foam sheet.
