The switch has at least one main break which is shunted by a resistor. It uses an auxiliary switch which is closed before the main switch is closed and opened after its opening. There is a second resistor (5) whose resistance is lower than that of the first resistor (2). It is connected in parallel with the main break by a second auxiliary which (4) closed like the first auxiliary switch (2) before closing of the main switch (1) but opened before its opening.
