<p>The sight (10) has a dust proof and water tight housing (20) fitted with a proximal aperture (21) and a distal aperture (22) along an optic axis, and mounted on a weapon. A projection unit (40) reproduces light generated by an electric light source (50) e.g. LED, as a target mark. A feed optics (60) feeds the target mark reproduced by the projection unit into a beam along the optic axis. A polarizing beam splitting layer e.g. macneille polarizer, and a band stop filter ensure that the mark reproduced by the projection unit is visible solely from the proximal aperture.</p> |
