摘要 The present invention relates to a system for managing streetlamps using power line communication. A streetlamp controller detects and recognizes, with converters and an image converter, whether a malfunction or an abnormal state such as overcurrent, short circuit, or electric leakage, during power supply operation, occurs in a streetlamp installed in a tunnel or on a road. If the streetlamp controller recognizes the abnormal state, the streetlamp controller cuts power supply to a stabilizer of a lamp through a relay and automatically restores power supply, if the streetlamp returns to a normal state. If the streetlamp controller recognizes a malfunction, the streetlamp controller transmits streetlamp information according to malfunction types with an address corresponding to its own address to a data collector installed at a required point in a manner of transmitting the streetlamp information with the address to a next streetlamp controller through a power line by a PCL transmitting unit, receiving the streetlamp information and the address by a PLC receiving unit of the next streetlamp controller, and transmitting the streetlamp information and the address to a next streetlamp controller by a PCL transmitting unit. Thus, the streetlamp information can be visually confirmed through a board of the data collector and can be checked through a PC connected to a wireless input/output terminal to quickly repair the malfunction of a streetlamp, thereby stably managing the streetlamp.
