The present invention relates to a method for producing an animal model of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by autoimmune disease and, more specifically, to a new animal model of COPD that immune tolerance to elastin, self protein, is collapsed and a method for producing the animal model. The occurrence of the COPD by autoimmune disease is confirmed in the animal model of the COPD according to the present invention, thereby being easily used for developing fundamental diagnosis agents and therapeutic drugs for the COPD.
