<p>The invention is claimed to provide a fluid pump comprising a basin 12, and four upwardly extending pipes. Main pipe 40 extends to the height of the basin, vent pipe 60 extends above the basin, and secondary pipe 20 extends to an upper tank 10. A smallest pipe 30 extends from the inside of main pipe 40 to the upper tank. The base of pipes 40 and 20 are closed by pistons 46 and 26, which are interconnected by a piston arrangement. Pipes 20 and 30 have non return valves 22, 32, and there is a control valve 24 connecting secondary pipe 20 to the basin12, and a control valve 44 connecting the main pipe 40 to the basin 12. It is claimed that control of valves 24 and 44 will cause movement of the pistons 26, 46 thus pumping fluid.</p> |
