A level shifting device included in a display device includes an input unit, a control unit, a high level generation unit, a low level generation unit, and an output unit. The input unit generates a level selection signal and multiple output selection signals by performing sampling on serially-inputted data including a level selection bit and multiple output selection bits. The control unit selectively generates a high level activation signal or a low level activation signal based on the level selection signal and generates a switching signal based on the multiple output selection signals. The high level generation unit generates a high level output signal in response to the high level activation signal. The low level generation unit generates a low level output signal in response to the low level activation signal. The output unit outputs one of the high level output signal and the low level output signal as a selected output signal among multiple output signals in response to the switching signal. The level shifting device has a small number of input pins and a small size. |
