The device has a control unit (2) that is surrounded by a frame (D). A loudspeaker is located at a base subassembly (3) of the frame. A sound channel is associated with the loudspeaker. A sound exit opening (7) is provided at edge region of the control unit. The sound exit opening is inclined at an angle of 90[deg] with respect to edge surface of the control unit. The control unit is provided with a picture screen (1) implemented as a touch screen.
