SEA-BOTTOM MINE

摘要

Instead of the usual cylindrical sea-bottom mine which is readily discernible and easily swept, particularly if stuck vertically in the sea bottom, mines are disclosed which are divided into an operational part and several explosive sections, the several parts being held together by flexible connections so that they may be stored and transported in one configuration and adopt a different configuration for operational use.
