One embodiment of the invention relates to a method for inspecting a flexible container and a corresponding device, said method comprising the following steps: arranging the flexible container on a winding mandrel which can rotate about a winding axis W and defines an inner counter bearing; winding the flexible container about the winding axis W; arranging an outer counter bearing around the wound-up container; connecting at least one container opening of the container to a source of fluid; filling the container with a fluid from the source of fluid to produce a defined excess pressure P1 in the flexible container at a first point in time T1; and determining whether the container is sufficiently tight.
