A method for driving an AC type plasma display panel is disclosed. By floating a scan electrode or by applying a voltage in the form of a square wave or a ramp wave immediately after a last sustain pulse is applied in a sustain period prior to a reset period, it is possible to prevent a formation of an excessive amount of wall charge or a generation of an excessive amount priming particles during sustain discharge. |
