PURPOSE: A traffic signal information providing system which uses wireless communication is provided to semi-automatically control a vehicle by communicating with a vehicle control apparatus by receiving speed limit and near traffic signal information. CONSTITUTION: A signal transmission apparatus(20) wirelessly transmits a traffic signal. A vehicle terminal(30) includes an electronic compass(31), a signal receiving part(32), a filtering part(33), and a controller(34). An electron compass detects a driving direction of a vehicle. The filtering part filters the traffic signal located in the driving direction of the vehicle. The controller extracts traffic signal information. An output apparatus(40) outputs the traffic signal information. |
