A gully for a drainage system comprises a gully wall (5) enclosing a gully chamber (4), wherein connection (23) with an external discharge pipe is provided for at an outlet (21) of the gully (1), and wherein a flow restrictor (27) with a smaller flow capacity than allowed by the outlet is provided at the outlet, whereby an exit path for a liquid in the gully chamber (4) to the external discharge pipe extends through the flow restrictor (27). The gully wall (5) comprises a plurality of apertures (13) for allowing liquid to seep into the gully chamber (4) from the surroundings when the gully is installed in a ground. |
