PURPOSE: A feed additive composition for improving immunity containing a fungus culture material which uses animal blood meal is provided to offer excellent immune-stimulating activity. CONSTITUTION: A feed additive composition for improving immunity contains a fungus culture material obtained by adding animal blood meal to a waste mushroom medium for culturing fruit bodies and hyphae of fungi, and finely crushing the obtained fungi culture material. The animal blood meal is obtained by sterilizing and drying animal blood at temperatures greater than 100 deg. C in a drier using high temperature steam. A drying apparatus for producing the blood meal condenses the steam generated from drying the blood using a duct connected to a blower for rapidly drying the blood. The average particle size of the animal blood meal is bigger than 50 meshes. The fungi are Hericium erinaceum, Lyophyllum ulmarium, or Cordyceps militaris. |
