<p>A data processing device includes a first register unit, a second register unit, and a data processing unit. The first register unit generates an address signal which indicates a storage position of first data stored in an external storage device based on a first control signal. The second register unit receives the first data outputted from the external storage device based on the address signal, converts the first data into second data based on a second control signal, and selectively generates a detectable error in the second data according to an operation mode if the error is inputted to the first data. The data processing unit selectively executes the second data according to the generation of the detectable error.</p> |
