PURPOSE:To improve a supply maneuverability of a transfer material by so constituting that a supply of a transfer material as well as a loading platform of the transfer material are made to descend gradually, in a printing machine, such as an image forming machine. CONSTITUTION:When a transfer material P is gone light emitted from a luminous lamp 9a passing through a cut of a stage 4 and received by a light receiving element 9c actuates a sensor 9 for turning on and off of a supply lamp. Then when a door is opened for replenishment the stage 4 is made to descend to a level of a sensor 10a by a rotation of a motor 15 in a reverse direction with that applicable during operation, and a space is formed between the stage 4 and a paper supplying roller 2. Then when the transfer material is replenished to this space, the transfer material causes a sensor 20 to be actuated for a redescent of the stage 4 and a space making. Through a repetition of this process predetermined quantity is replenished, and upon closing of the door the motor 15 is made to rotate normally, which causes the stage 4 to be ascended, the transfer material to be touched to the paper supplying roller 2 for completion of a supply. A supply maneuverability of the transfer material is improved in this way. |
