Thin-film lens having an integrated optical structure

A thin-film lens made of titanium oxide is applied to a thin-film waveguide produced by diffusing titanium onto a lithium niobate substrate; this gives a thin-film lens for an integrated optical structure which has high light-gathering power, whose lens characteristics are stable, and which allows broad application as a function element.
