The system has a set of solar cells (1) comprising a diode (7), which is connected with two conductors (5, 6) and arranged in parallel to each solar cell. A temperature-controlled switch (8) i.e. thermal relay, is arranged parallel to the diode and electrically switched when exceeding a first predetermined temperature such that a short circuit is made across the diode to de-energize the diode. The temperature-controlled switch is electrically switched when falling below a second predetermined temperature such that a short circuit over the diode is terminable and the diode is again switched. The diode is designed as a bypass diode or a flywheeling diode. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a photovoltaic module (2) a method for reducing waste heat of a photovoltaic module. |
