<p>A double-edged knife with one sharp edge and one blunt edge. The knife has one side which is shorter with a blunt blade 1 which is the equivalent of a butter knife. The blunt blade can be used to spread butter/margarine on bread or cakes etc. The opposite side of the knife is sharp 2. The sharp blade can be used for chopping and slicing. The handle has a unique feature as it makes the use of the butter side safer. The increased distance from the handle to the blade 7 is intended to help prevent user from placing a finger on the sharp blade. Conversely the blunt edge has been designed to be shorter thus allowing a user to place their finger more directly above the sharp edge (when in use) to allow for extra pressure.</p> |
