Provided is a learning assistance apparatus and the like whereby the answer time for each answer column can be calculated and whereby proficiency in consideration of the answer time can be readily determined. This learning assistance apparatus comprises: a data input unit (57) for acquiring coordinate data relating to a position inputted into an answer column (21) by an electronic pen (10) as well as time data relating to when the coordinate data was acquired; and an answer time calculation unit (42) for calculating the answer time until the point in time of completion of writing into the answer column (21) by the electronic pen (10), on the basis of the time data relating to when the coordinate data included in a coordinate range corresponding to the answer column (21) was acquired.
