<p>An item of jewellery comprising a planar shaped substrate having a coloured design printed thereon. The jewellery may be printed on both sides and the substrate may be wood or a plastics material, in particular clear plastics or foamed PVC. The jewellery may be a pendant or earrings, and may have additional elements adhered to the surface of the substrate. Also claimed are methods of preparing such an item of jewellery, one method comprising the step of placing the substrate into a jig adapted to hold the substrate; one method comprising the steps of printing onto a substrate and then cutting the substrate to the desired shape.</p> |
