摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize proper movement of an autonomous mobile robot even when the movement desired direction of a person is unclear. SOLUTION: An operation determining part 80 and a travel control part 66 determine whether a person tries to retreat the autonomous mobile robot based on a recognizing result of a voice recognizing part 56, and determines the movement desired direction of the person based on a detecting result of a person detecting part 60 and a face detecting part 52. As a result of this determination, when determining that the person has will of trying to retreat the autonomous mobile robot but the movement desired direction is unclear, the autonomous mobile robot is moved in the direction for separating from the person, and the autonomous mobile robot is moved in the direction for separating from the person based on the movement desired direction of the person after the autonomous mobile robot moves in the direction for separating from the person.
