PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature control method of a showcase capable of saving energy while keeping interior temperature constant by suppressing generation of overshoot or undershoot. SOLUTION: The interior temperature of the showcase is measured, and temperature control for increasing/decreasing a coolant flow rate of a cooler is performed based on the measured interior temperature, and upper-limit temperature and lower-limit temperature set beforehand, while carrying out time control for increasing/decreasing the coolant flow rate of the cooler within a cycle time T1 set beforehand. When the interior temperature is lower than the temperature set beforehand, the coolant flow rate of the cooler is decreased within a time B set beforehand before starting defrosting operation.
