A camera (1) limits an EDOF range using F-DOF through user interactions without causing any discomfort, and includes: a user input unit (102) for accepting input of a focal length; a range determination unit (13x) for determining a moving range of an in-focus position, based on the focal length; and an imaging unit (14x) for capturing an image in such a manner that the in-focus position moves in the moving range during a exposure time.
