<p>The chair (10) has a frame (60), a seat part (40) and a back portion (50) with an adjustable slant opposite to the seat part. The back portion is optionally adjustable in one of couch position or a sitting position and pivotable relative to the seat part. An outer toothing of a locking element (20) is rotatably arranged on the back potion about a pivot axis and an inner toothing of the locking element is attached and fixed on the frame.
